87 Marathon Bogs out and fouled plug?
Ive just bought my first cart and its bogging out and has fouled the plug.
I tried seafoam and have had some one pull the carb to clean the bowl and jets. It ran great for about 20 minutes and then stopped. now it just idles when you hit the gas. He thinks that he didnt put the jet in enough and is causing it to foul out. Thought that Id get a second apinion and see if you guys have had any experience with this. Thank you, Cullen |

It sounds like your fouling problem might be your fuel mix. It should be 128:1. 1 oz oil to 1 gallon of gas. I believe theses older cart are not supposed to idle. Should only run when gas pedal is pushed down. If you have a pre oiler i highly recommend taking it off and mix your fuel in a gas can. Hope this helps.
