Default Unique cart - need help deciding to buy

It is an EZ Go 956g and about a 2004 model. It has supposedly 400 or so hours on it. Body, steering wheel, and mats all show no wear. I can't post a picture from my phone so Google the model to see it or it is the same as a Cushman Bellhop 6. In 2005, the style changed to look like a regular limo cart. This one is short wheelbase like a regular cart, with a cushman type front end ahead of the other 2 seats. I would sit over the front wheels.
What little info I could find on it is; advertised as a people mover, 350cc motor, front hydraulic brakes - possibly disc, and rear drum hydraulic with a cable parking brake, and HD springs. NOT much else found on Google.
A campground used it for trying to sell memberships, but customers complaints about a severely rough off-road ride made them get a newer style longer wheel base cart. I believe with some work, the ride would be smother. I plan on a little bigger tires and a small lift to increase approach and departure angles. Not wanting to do extreme off-road or hill climbs like some of my friends, but trails and family camping / carting.
Is $3k too much? Here locally, limos go for 3,200 rough, to 7k fixed up used. Get it or stay away? THANKS.

Thanks, I have it saved now.
Was looking for comments from someone familliar with the cart.
Around here, carts are kind of high priced. Rough carts barely running still command $1500. Limo used with lots of hours are $3200 - 2 on Craigslist now used at a university. Usded and cleaned up go for up to $7000 with a paint job.
This one looks BARELY used, 400 hours for $3000 looks god to me because it has hydraulic brakes and HEAVY DUTY leaf springs. Possibly only longer shackles may raise it for my needs. Add a trac bar if necessary. If that don't raise it enough, then weld new mounts for spring eyes and shackles.

I have a 952 and love it, it is not good off road though.

With the stiff heavy duty springs, stock height, and tires, there is lots of room to improve the ride. Planning a moderate lift and bigger tires to absorb some of the roughness. I don't want an extreme off-road cart anyway, so I shouldn't worry about finding a super size lift. I should be able to clear a little bigger tires with a shackle lift.
I found another cart of similar style on page 4 of the albums titled Monster cart. Looks great and gives me ideas. Definitely different is something that attracted me to this cart!
So far, no one has said steer clear of the cart, so I guess it is a decent cart. I have ideas on how I will fix it up to be even more unique.

After buying the cart last night, we took it on the same trails I will be using it on. It performed as I expected - MORE weight of the driver and a passenger OVER the front axle made the front tires PLOW in the sand, and lightened the rear axle to make it spin in some places. We compensated by moving everyone but the driver to the seats farther back, 2 of them behind the rear axle on the rear platform. It then did MUCH BETTER! BIGGER flotation tires will help, as I have learned from my experience with JEEPS and thier engine front heavy stance. I also plan on a FULL cart of 6, instead of the 4 we had last night, with more modifications ALL adding weight to the rear of the cart and NOT the front.

For those interested, the seller is a cart dealer and he went over the cart before I picked it up. He then took time to familiarize me with the cart I was buying, including showing me a hidden kill switch. Before I got there, he had changed the air and fuel filter, adjusted the valves, checked and REPLACED the charging regulator. He threw in 2 spark plugs and 2 quarts of oil so I could do my first tune up and oil change at no cost, a new starter belt, and a new short drive belt for trail riding, a spare tire and a 5 lug rim that fits my cart. This wasn't at his store, all at his vacation residence inside the private campground where we did the whole deal. Anyone near Waycross, Ga. should visit Red Whittaker, he is highly recommended. No extras were expected or discussed for this deal. He did all this on his own.

Hey that's great. Once and a while you will run into good people. Now get some pics of the cart for the rest of us.
