Default Wiring for Head ligths, Tail Lights, Brake Lights and Turn Signals

I apologize if this is a duplicate thread. Searched for a couple of weeks now...

I have a 2000 standard TXT that has no factory wiring for lights. I bought a pair of LED tail light/brake lights and have installed them...but haven't wired them in yet. I would like to wire it for street legal usage with turn signals and everything at some point. Does anyone have suggestions as to whether I should bite the bullet and buy the factory wire harness for it...or if I should get a fuse block, flasher, etc and wire it myself?

I'm a newb working on my first cart, so simplified instructions would be great or if someone knows of a thread that I can use as a guideline would be awesome. Thanks for the help!

Here is the circuit I came up with for my last marathon.

Here is a picture of the control box. The switch on the left has 3 positions. ON/OFF/ON for the headlights, and marker lights. The lower switch is the DPDT switch to control the turn signals. There is also two LEDs in this switch to indicate direction. The switch on the right is ON/OFF for the lights on the dash. You'll need to add load resistors across the LEDs if you want them to flash. Since you already have the taillights, all you need to buy is the flasher, 4 relays, and some wire/connectors. Let me know if you need more info.

But what does it cost? I think I had about $40 into mine including the lights.

Thanks, I did see this on another thread...but the picture of the actual switches REALLY helped! I couldn't quite figure out how that would look.

I'm assuming an auto parts store for the relays and flasher? I've never attempted wiring like this before. I'm USUALLY pretty mechanical, but electrical throws me for a loop.

What gauge wire do you recommend?

Thanks popatop, I did some quick searching for the turn signal switch. Is that an ezgo part?

If you aren't comfortable with wiring electrical circuits I would suggest you use the universal kit.

What i did for my Marathon is,I did lights, turn sig, horn, dash lights, I put a fuse box in the dash with a cover, put a on/off switch to turn on and off the fuse bos and wired everything to the fuse box worked great. I can post some pic's if you like.
