88 Marathon 2PG Connecting Rod Bearing
So I am back to work on the Marathon. I had put it away because I had some money issues but now I am back up and ready to getr done. I am getting ready to order my parts for the rebuild on the engine and I noticed that I have play in my connecting rod lower bearing at the crankshaft. It does not have play straight up and down but it slides back and forth and you can kinda tilt it back and forth. Do I need to replace and if so is there a place I can purchase that bearing so that I dont have to buy the entire crankshaft assembly? Thanks, Craig

Re: 88 Marathon 2PG Connecting Rod Bearing
you can't replace that bearing, but if there is no up or down play you are fine. stock ones have a bit of side play so they will self align. good luck!
