My 1993 Marathon Project (frame-up)
I just drove 350 miles round trip to pick up a 1993 EZGO Marathon gas cart that I purchased on e-bay for $750.00. Pretty good deal if you ask me the only hitch in it is that it’s torn down to the freshly painted frame. All of the major components look to be in excellent shape and all the parts seem to be included but I guess I’ll find that out soon enough. I bought it to build with my 10yr old son in order to teach him basic mechanic skills as well as learn a thing or two myself. It would have been nice if I had taken it apart then I would have an idea where to start but right now it’s a pile of parts in my trailer and on the back of my truck. Tomorrow I try and find the repair manual which will be a huge help. I’m open to suggestions on tips and tricks to make our build easier and the outcome better. Ill put some pictures up soon.

Congrats! I have a '93 also. It was a basket-case when I got it too.
Here are the before and after shots. Good luck, and have fun with it! |

Thanks. The tires are 22x11-10. I bought the tire/wheel combo on ebay.

Re: My 1993 Marathon Project (frame-up)
Thanks sdg8569. If you have any questions about the '93, let me know. My motor is a little different than stock. I bought the cart as you see it in the first pic. No motor, just a rolling chassis, although it didn't roll too well. I have a Briggs 16hp V-twin in it. Believe it or not... I can spin those tires!
