comet clutch stuck

anyone ever have there comet clutch stick shut?

well mine did, and what a pain in the rump tryin to roll it!
when i got it home, i took it off, pushed it open and the ramps
were all messed up.(fixed now)

i didnt know they could move in the cover that easy
or was it just bad luck.

drew i also have a comet clutch stuck but i dont know how the ramps go back in place can you steer me to a site with a diagram or can you explain how the ramps go thats the only thing i see in side the clutch when i took it apart thanks jeff miller

well if i remember right, the long flat side of the ramp is the top.
the bottom of the ramp has a little groove and slots sits in the slots.
once you have them seated right you will no, theres only one way the clutch will open & close properly.
