Newbie needs Identification Help
First cart I've ever owned and found the following numbers:
EZGO Textron Ser. No. 501937 Manuf. Code K2088 Augusta, GA On the Engine: Robin Model EC25-2PG 244 cc Motor# 88-11338 I believe it is an 1988 model cart and I do know that the engine was replaced about 5 years ago. Can anyone tell me the year of the motor so that we can order an engine rebuild kit? (it is blowing some smoke, but not all the time). I also know that it is a 2 stroke motor. We will need a manual as well. Any help would be muchly appreciated. Thank you, Dave & Jack |

ONIN2, cool name!
Welcome to the forum. Check out the Old School Marathon thread. I'm sure you will find everything you need there. If not, just start asking away. Lots of experts on here that can help you out. |

Re: Newbie needs Identification Help
Thanks EZ and Dew,
I've started reading the Old School threads and yes, I am planning on checking the compression for sure before any work begins and have owned lots of snowmachines (2 strokers). This thing blows (at times) big clouds of blue smoke. Looks nasty to. I'm sure the compression will be below par. No pun intended. Thank you for your input, it is appreciated. Dave & Jack |

Thanks Rusty.
Tell me...that one cart in your photo, the one with the roof on it. Where did you get those rims and tires and about how much were they. They look very nice and I think they'd look sweet on our EZGO. Dave |
