82 ezgo starter generator compatibility
I've got an 82 ezgo 2 stroke and the starter has been getting weaker and weaker over the last few months and will no longer turn the motor over. Battery is fine, brushes and armature look good, but the starter & wiring just get hot now when trying to start. The starter is 5 wire Hitachi gsb107-03 1427060200. I see lots of hitachi starters with part numbers that start with gsb107 but have different numbers after the hyphen. Are they all the same? would a gsb107-13 work?
