Default Brake hub part number

I have a gas ezgo not sure what year because someone drilled off the ID plate inside the glove box. It is a 4 stroke and the drivers side brake hub is stripped. The only number i can find on it is 18500, my question is what is the replacement hub part number and should I go with stock ezgo or one of the companies that sell the upgraded versions. The splines on the axle seem to be fine. Thanks in advance.

according to one our sponsor's sites there are only two posibilities a 24 spline and a 30 spline depending on year. Looks like yours would be the 30 spline.

Yep, what he said. If it were me, go ahead and replace them both. The link above points to the new Ausco brakes which use a much better hub assembly and I believe Club Car drums. Same price as the factory hub and much better. PK2126 is the part number you need for them. If you want to get the factory hub, it is 21807G1M
