2013 ezgo express SLOW
I am new to this site. I just brought this thing home yesterday and didn't have chance to ride until today. My cart has 23x14 wheels and tires on it. According to ezgo.com should run 17.5 mph stock. I put GPS on cart and it tops out at 17 mph not at all what I expected. I emailed dealer telling him I love everything about it but I just got passed by a women with a walker. Do you guys have any ideas or a dealer that may help if this one does not??????

Drive it downhill and you'll probably see the 17.5mph the dealer told you.
Seriously???? You are .5mph off of what the dealer told you and you think there is a problem? Go drive a stock txt and you will be amazed how much faster yours is. |

I also have a 2013 and I think I have searched all over the net on instructions to speed it up. Everyone gives you tells you how to do it on older mods but not one on a newer mod. Did you find anything

Work the gas , and follow the cable back over the rear you will see it moving there is a lot of play take a couple flats on the adjustment nut at a time this will make it go faster try a couple flats at a time makes a big differance i went to far and had to go back a couple flats to fast i have a 2012 TXT with the Kawasaki Engine

Im assuming you are talking about a gas cart. My 2012 EZ Go gas will run right at 28mph with the governor almost all the way out. Other than that it is stock. 13HP Kawasaki engine.

Mojo ,
did you use a GPS of some kind? Does the motor sound like its running hard? I have the 13hp also, I havent touched the governer yet but i know old 9hp's ran hard with the gov out. I'm making my cart street legal so 28Mph would be great! |
