Default 84 Going south fast

So Im limping things along and trying to keep the old bird going but it completely died on me yesterday. The starter/gen wont turn over now. I start tracing/inspecting and tugging on wires on the solenoid and can get the starter to go by jumping across A and B so I take it out and bench test it by hooking up 12V to C and D and the thing clicks fine. So I see if I can get any power to C as it is not providing power to the solenoid. Where does C get it's power? I have had issues with the micro switch that is activated when you press the accelerator pedal slightly. But it is clicking. Is there just one wire running to it and what is it called on this wiring diagram? I have bypassed the ignition switch and checked the FNR switch. Where would you go from here if all the wires looked good and you cleaned all the grounds? VR? Pulse Coil? Ill dig into it more tomorrow but Its too cold right now lol. Thanks for any help. Mainly just need help identifying the micro switches.

"C" is a ground.

The accelerator microswitch on my 1990 marathon has two wires going to it- maybe one of the wires was pulled/broken off.

On the diagram follow terminal follow terminal D back to the accelerator limit switch. This is the switch that is activated by the throttle. One side should go to the solenoid and the other to the ignition switch (ignore the neutral limit switch this is a throwback to the pre 1980 cart). If you really only have one wire on the switch you have found your problem.

If you do not have a multimeter then I recommend a cheapie from Walmart at about $9.99. This will make you life a lot easier. With the back axle off the ground, so it doesn't run away with you hook up across the two small terminals of the solenoid and with the ignition switch on, press the throttle. You should nor see 12 volts.
