Just pruchased this cart last weekend, while at the river this thing smoke pretty bad on the intial start, noticed that it lagged in power. Later on this week i was able to get a look underneith the seat to take a closer look at the motor. Noticed the chock cable mount (cable screw) had vibrated loose and figure the chock was flapping over and causing this to run rich. So here is the question--- How important is the chock? Can i do away with it?
I was thinking of removing the chock cable and butterfly from with in the carb. |
