Fluid leaking from driven clutch area on diff and speed issue

1. As the title states. 81 Marathon. Found a trail of fluid leaking from the driven clutch area. Wanting to know the best way to change the seal, as well as the best place to find the seal.

2. Also, the cart tops out at around 13 mph ungov'd. When jacked up, the drive clutch seems to be operating normally, but even with the rpm's high, I am not seeing the driven clutch move in and out (like the drive clutch) at all. Is this somewhat normal? Could the spring be tired or maybe something else that is causing low speeds? Never messed with a driven clutch before. Both belts are brand new. The drive belt is stock length. I am not wanting to break the sound barrier, but I know these carts/engines *should* top out around the 20mph range. Would the shorter drive belt solve this problem?

sounds like the driven pulley is froze up maybe?

Yeah, I'm wondering if a dismantle and cleaning would free it up. Looks as if I'll have it off anyway to address the leak issue.

the driven clutch is normally "closed" and opens under RPM - if the spring is weak it will open too fast, so if it's not moving I would lean towards worn or shot ramp buttons, rust and/or crud buildup on the shaft, or something caught in there that is keeping it from moving ... A disassembly, cleaning, some sandpaper and steel wool as required, etc should be a start, also make sure your ramp buttons are there, first - second that there is enough left of them to keep the helix from going metal-on-metal

I think there is a spacer per say on the backside of the driven clutch. If that isnt the original clutch then the original owner forget to swap the spacer and the diff will leak without that spacer. Hope this makes sense.
