Default Workhorse dump switch wiring diagram

I just picked up the dump switch from this post http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ezgo-...-dump-bed.html
at Napa and after looking at the side of it I am confused if it should be wired just as essness posted at the end in his wiring diagram. To me it looks like lead 6 and 3 are negative to battery and 4+1 is positive to battery or vice versa. If someone can verify that by looking at the picture I posted of the side of the switch I would appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks....but why 1 and 6 to positive? Since the direction of both on the schematic are facing the opposite way I would think that the wouldnt be on the same pole. Can you explain that? Thanks

In Esses picture you will see the jumpers crisscrossing to reverse the direction the current flows.

I just installed a dump kit today after I put my rebuilt engine back in. I bought a 700 # Warren linear actuator off ebay. It has a 12" stroke, so it's not a direct bolt in. I had to move the attachment point toward the front of the bed to open and close properly. I bought the DPDT switch at the local parts store. Total cost was under $100. Here's how I wired it.
