Adjusting Valves/Mechanic Asking for Torque Numbers
Hello, i just recently got a 1996 ez go txt with a 295 engine. I am in the process of re building the engine and need to know this information, i tried to search but couldnt find anything related.
My mechanic says that when changing valves, seals and everything related to valves, that he needs to "calibrate the valves". Im kind of new to the mechanics lingo so i dont know what does he exactly mean by this. I would think that there is a specific force *Torque* that he needs to set in order for the valves to work properly. If i am on the wrong path please correct me, thanks |

Re: Adjusting Valves/Mechanic Asking for Torque Numbers
I think he means the numbers for valve clearance which is .004 but here is a good reference spot http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/ezgo-gas-tech/
