Bumper-Hitch build
This may take me a few days-weeks to finish up but here goes! I'm gonna cut the old "bumper" out and weld this in between the frame rails.. I know it's a bit too beefy but ya cant beat FREE! I figure i'll have to notch out the bag well a bit too because I want it to sit in the same spot as the original bumper..

Thats perfect!I used 3"x3"x 1/8"-wall square-tube on mine,with the tow-hook and 2"-receiver underneath.

Re: Bumper-Hitch build
This is my hitch and the heaviest thing I have had on it.The trailer looks much better now. We have two spots that I use the cart to set the trailer into its spot.

Re: Bumper-Hitch build
Well I messed around with it a bit today Ran out of welding wire and I need to get some plate to tie it in on the ends and cap it off. But all & all I think it will do what I ask of it [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
I added some Grip tape to the top too! The kid's won't slip when climbing all over it anymore!! |

Looking good! Here's mine all finished and painted. Now I can put my rear fenders on and move on to the motor rebuild.
