clutches
got the motor running good now seem to have an issue with the driven clutch when up on jack stands the cart runs great you can see both clutches operating properly and it looks to be running quite fast but when on the ground the driven clutch does not move at all top speed about 7-9 mph is there something I can check before dropping another $200 that may or may not be my fix ? already tried a dry lube with no results

Re: clutches
Start with cleaning and light lube every thing.
Check the drive clutch for missing weights, sticking. |

Re: clutches
Seems like the drive clutch is sticking if it's only working when it's not under a load.

Re: clutches
Sounds like a good start I will be on it tomorrow morning thanks for your help should I disassemble the clutch or just clean and lube? I found a dry lube for garage doors that drys and prevents any dirt build up

Re: clutches
I found one somewhat local the guy had it sittin on his shelf for several years and said he would match the internet price Woo Hoo pickin it up tomorrow. the fingers on the clutch were so hammered when it tried to engage in forward it would lock up in the worn out groves and I had to have the motor at about half throttle just to get going so that is why it was operating better in reverse now just have to pull the junk clutch off (any ideas on that task are welcome) Major Thanks for everyones help not sure I would have taken it all apart without all your help.
