Default Air Box Issue After Lift?

I recently lifted my 88' Marathon 4". After the lift I noticed that the 2.5" hose from the air box to the carburetor is kinked significantly. Has anyone else had this issue? And what have you done to fix this? Im just looking for a simple fix. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I notched out my fender just a bit and cut the angle off the aluminium air cleaner tube. Then I heated the air cleaner boot to stretch it over the cut off tube. worked out real well, that's if you want to run the stock air box and not spend any money

Excellent idea! I believe that's the route I'll be taking. Thank you for the idea.
