Robins 295 or 350cc Crank Shaft
I'm looking for a picture of the gear on the end of the crank shaft of a 295 or 350 Robins engine. I believe the gear on my crank shaft slipped. I can only know for sure if I can get a look at the gear marking on the crank gear. I have the shop book and that picture is no help. When my crank shaft is sitting at top dead center the gear mark is at 1:00 (one o'clock) I'm thinking it is off. Maybe should be at 3:00 (three o'clock) need a little help!!! Thanks

Re: Robins 295 or 350cc Crank Shaft
Ok so I just picked up a different engine it's the same Robins 350cc only a year newer.
First thing I did was open it up and take a look inside. And Bam....when the pistons are at Top dead center the balancer shafts keyway is up at 12:00 no matter where the gear markings are the engine is in time and will run. |
