Default It's Addicting!

First got a 2004 EZGO TXT 36v. Lifted it, new batts, etc etc. Used it on wifes parents land and for hunting/work use. Learned a lot from this site and members along with the vendors.

Well, noticed the electric cart didn't seem to have the umph on certain chores. Found a 2001.5 gas (that was old style steering) sitting on Craigs List for over a month with no takers. After I decided to make up my mind and go get it, I knew this project had me hooked!

Started out with only one pic, but I had already cut headlights out when I took it. Everybody loves pics, but didn't think about it til almost done. Another Jakes 6" Lift Kit, new seat covers, flip rear seat, camo wrap kit, HD rear leafs, floor mat, Jakes Shifter, new black roof (Tried every trick off here to paint old white top, no go) along with a winch and receiver plate, and some other mods, got the final pic.

I even searched the web looking for an insert into the dreaded open dash slot, so made my own.

Cart looks great. I also had to make my own filler panel for the dash slot. Still have a long way to go before mine isdone.

Thanks Capt! It was either that or a pintle mount for a 1919A4. Woulda been too short for windshield or too tall to see sights.

Pitbull Joe, yes, it's a gun rack. Never know when your gonna be out and about and see a coyote or a hog. Also hard to drive around holding a rifle and driving one handed.

I was tempted to install a bar across the windshield tilt line and attach a gun rack to that, but went with the floor mount. You can even remove it leaving the base plate on the floor when ya don't need it.

Easy to install, 4 holes drilled. Just be sure if you do this, there is a flange underneath where the floorboard starts to go up that could interfere with bolting it on. Yes, I didn't look, but I was able to get both front nuts on using the flange as a wrench.
