What all do u have to do to put a after market

Are you thinking something like a Briggs/Honda/Clone? I opted for one of the CPP kits, and it was extremely simple. Unbolt the engine carrier from the axle and frame, unhook all the electrical from the cart, and yank it out. Putting the new engine in was the exact opposite process, and equally as simple.

Have you made a decision on what motor you are going with? I am looking to do the same thing and was just curious what direction you went and what were your reasons! I looked at the ccp motors and they are a pretty large investment for me, but it looks like the easiest install.

You deffinetly have to cut and weld to get a clone in any golf cart.

Unless you buy a swap-kit,you will be fabricating parts to put anything other than the stock motor in any cart.
