Default me29 ezgo diff tear down w/pt numbers

ok,,ive found my trans input shaft bearing is grinding a lil with a lil slop..dont wanna tear up anything else,so..
lots of info here but cant find exploded view of the 94 gas rear diff?
need to find out if theres a step by step on breaking the cases to replace the input shaft bearings?
id rather get the right parts?seems like there would be 2 bearings and a seal?
id hate to do it w/out asking questions first so i dont let all the gears fall out and be a cluster ---- when putting back together
also.are these bearings all made in china? i have 3 local bearing companys that will have qaulity bearings if needed? id rather buy qaulity bearings from a site sponser tho..
thanks for any help

that looks like it,thanks rib
i articulated it as far up as the jack would go and over filled the diff and still no different.

then i spun the wheels by hand and feel all the bearings need replaced while im at it..
im thinking i may as well get every bearing inside there and replace them all..
anyone done this? seems like someone ran it dry so i may wait till its apart to see if its worth me rebuilding this thing

You will definitely need to crack it open to get to it, you can either get the gasket from your local ezgo dealer or just get some gasket sealer from auto zone or equivalent

Here's some really good pics. Looks like the input shaft side should be up when you take it apart.

ok,anyone wanna change this threads name please do,,maybe call it
"me29 ezgo diff tear down w/pt numbers"

scottyb you were right,,not so bad once i dug into it

well since my local 45 yr in buisness bearing company has everything i need i figured i would put all these bearing pt numbers in here for others to save lot of time..
1994 ezgo me29 axle part numbers;
first the axle shafts are 1-1/8th thick in the center longest part, and .930 on the splined ends of the axles.

2-wheel bearings pt#2055,but locally called a 6205=2rs since its a sealed bearing.same as input shaft bearings,but sealed. 9.52 each

2-6205 input shaft bearings 9.19 each

2-6008 differential side bearings that the axles go thru.21.59 0r 27.59 ?

2-6204 bearings for the geared shaft that the shift fork goes into.7.95 each

2-bh4887e inner axle seals behind where the axle tubes bolt up.

1-ah1334e input shaft seal

this should save time for anyone changing every bearing and seal in the axle assy..unless you break snap rings and loose shims o the gear shafts..
be carefull,go slow, draw pics to remember where stuff goes if needed..

wish me luck
