Default Fair price on 295 Ezgo Engine

Have the take out motor from my 96 ezgo. Need to know what it is worth. It was a good running motor when removed. I also have starter/gen, engine saddle, and basically everything that came out when I went to the big block conversion. So my question is what's the package deal worth? Engine alone?
I do have it listed on here for $700.00 for everything, didn't know where to start but realize that some might not need everything so looking for some imput.

Thanks
John Lynch

Well, here's what a Brand New Reman will cost someone:

The few 295's I've come across on Craigslist, etc around here (SE Wisconsin) tend to run around $300 (asking price, sell is likely a bit lower) complete (generally with clutch, carb, exhaust, etc as they're almost always pulls for a BB conversion) ... A lot depends on where You are located. $700 though, not to be discouraging but for a 17 year-old engine, that's pretty stiff, especially if it's a southern cart (carts from the north have much shorter seasons so they tend to have far fewer hours and wear)

BrewCity,
Thank you for your honest input. I really had no idea so this gives me a little help. I've had the cart for the past 7 years and only used it at the race track in the summer so hours on it can't be too bad.

drgrcr890,
That cart hauled your lazy butt around for most of those 7 years so you
could be a little nicer to your elders!

Thanks again
John Lynch
