Default Power Kit??

I'm looking at the "Power kit" from CPP. Its $99 which isn't bad. Anyone have any reviews about it? thanks. looking for a little more power is all :)

Power kit with the machined sheave will get you about 35% more torque. Easier take off with lift kit and bigger tires, and better hill climbing power.. Hope this helps

well i'm not happy with the take off and power so this sounds like a good start. Thanks for the info. I don't have a lift kit. I'll probably keep it low for the time being. I use it around the race track and pulling the race car, but i noticed how jerky the starts are and its annoying. this should help i'm hoping.

If you're going to be pulling something, especially a stock car, I would recommend the cut sheave also!

its a rear engine dragster, 1800lbs. what exactly does the sheave do?

The cut sheave lowers your starting ratio and gives more torque. I have heard of a small trailer being pulled but not 1,800 pounds May want to get a tractor! I think it should be ok with the full power kit from CPP. Sheave and spring

thats 1800 rolling weight. i have seen alot of people doing this , just not sure of the upgrades they have done

Drag strip is flat. I'd only worry about starting and stopping. With stock tires and %35 more grunt I'd bet you can do it. Just keep up on your brakes as well.
