Re: Power Kit??
Power kit with the machined sheave will get you about 35% more torque. Easier take off with lift kit and bigger tires, and better hill climbing power.. Hope this helps

Re: Power Kit??
well i'm not happy with the take off and power so this sounds like a good start. Thanks for the info. I don't have a lift kit. I'll probably keep it low for the time being. I use it around the race track and pulling the race car, but i noticed how jerky the starts are and its annoying. this should help i'm hoping.

Re: Power Kit??
If you're going to be pulling something, especially a stock car, I would recommend the cut sheave also!

Re: Power Kit??
The cut sheave lowers your starting ratio and gives more torque. I have heard of a small trailer being pulled but not 1,800 pounds May want to get a tractor! I think it should be ok with the full power kit from CPP. Sheave and spring

Re: Power Kit??
Drag strip is flat. I'd only worry about starting and stopping. With stock tires and %35 more grunt I'd bet you can do it. Just keep up on your brakes as well.
