Default Please help double check my math, LOL

Riding around on the Workhorse, and I started to have some issues, the cart would die and act like it wasn't getting spark, etc but then would jump back to life .... Then it just died. A couple of failed attempts to start it and suddenly it just kept turning over, even without the pedal - so I turned the key off and it just kept turning over until I pulled the battery cable. NOW - when I hook up the battery cable it just immediately starts turning over, gets power to the coil for a second and then THAT goes away, all the while she keeps turning over key on or off until I pull the battery cable.

Solenoid is my first guess - and of COURSE it's Friday of a holiday weekend and no EZGO dealers in the area, PERFECT. Sound right?

Oops - belay that diagnosis - under closer scrutiny, both of the small posts nuts are just rattling loose on the posts, not sure where THAT came from (I haven't touched them since I got the cart, weird) ....

Anybody else find the placement of the solenoid on the workhorse as possibly the worst design EVER?!?
