Starting problems
Hey folks
I'm back I got to do a little tinkering on my cart today. I had it turning over but it didn't seem to want to fire at all. Checked spark to spark plug there was almost no gap so I opened it up some. Does anyone know the proper gap? Then when I felt I had good fire it didn't seem to be getting gas. Checked line after the fuel pump. No gas coming through pump. Pulled pump (said all that to say this) no rod to activate the fuel pump. If anyone has one of these or knows where I can get one or how I can make one I would appreciate it. Thanks jahenbo |

Re: Starting problems
I think it's .28 gap on the plug.
The fuel pump is of a pulse nature, it works off vacuum/pressure in the engine case created by the movement of the piston. |

Re: Starting problems
Thanks Jon,
Yeah I talked to my friendly neighborhood golf cart man and he informed it was pulse type and not mechanical. Thanks for the info on the plug gap too Jay |
