Default Intake vent cover?

I'm thinking about running my intake on the air filter box into the passenger compartment on my txt like on a workhorse. Sure beats sucking in dirt, dust and crap from the engine compartment. Anyone done this and if so what did you use for a vent cover?

Thinking like this but for $3.49 must be cheaply made, any other idea?
