Default 000586 EZGO gas vehicle

Hello All.
I am new to this forum, as you can see. I have a EZGO with 2 cylinder gas engine. Serial #000586. From this site, it quotes it is a 1988 model. It has a hydraulic tilt bed. Also has a rear pto. What would the rear pto be used for?
I am trying to resurrect this vehicle. Right now, the solenoid just clicks. Engine will not turn over. Put a jump wire across solenoid posts and no action from the starter. How is this starter removed, if necessary? Is this a Bendix style starter where the gear is engaged into the flywheel when key is turned to start?
thanks

Most carts have a starter/generator, which is an electric motor that spins a belt to a pulley on the crank. Did you jump it across the big terminals on the solenoid with a heavy wire/cable?

Yes, used a heavy wire, sparked a little , but no movement of the starter. I currently do not have a picture of the right side of the engine to show that this setup uses a alternator, not a starter/generator.
thanks

New one on me, that looks like a hydraulic motor that raises the bed.
Is it connected to the motor in anyway?

That is correct and works fine. Small leak in one hose. Deal with that later. Engine running is more important.
thanks

Sorry, read your post again, thought you were showing the alternator.

Not familiar with your cart or motor, hope someone here can help.
