Default 1991 ezgo help

My stepsons friends dad has a 91 ezgo gas, I guess it's a marathon. It has been going good all summer but now it doesn't move anymore, he said a seal came out from the gap behind this pully setup but that's all he knows. It sounds like just a bearing seal? Anyway if we lift up on the drivers side we can roll it easily, and the drivers side wheel spins back as we roll it forward lifting it, so the differential isn't locked up. I told him I would check it out and see what I could figure out. Anyone here have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I have a 91 marathon but it does not
look like yours in the pic. I think you may have the 4 cycle 295cc motor and that would not be a big deal for at least running although not great with seal out as it is not 2 cycle that needs a sealed block.

Yeah it just won't move, it runs but the wheels won't turn. It's locked up unless you lift the drivers side up then you can roll it on the pass side, while rolling like that the drivers side wheel spins the opposite direction so I know the differential isn't the issue.

Have you checked to see if one of your rear hubs is stripped?

No I haven't really gotten to check it out yet, I was just trying to see if anyone had a similar issue before and might be able to point me in the right direction.
Would that make the cart act like the wheels are locked up?

What do you mean it's locked up?

He was driving it and the drivers side wheel literally locked up and he skidded to a stop. If you try to drive the cart, you can see the cart trying to engage to move but it won't. If you try to push the cart it won't move, but if you lift the drivers side up to take pressure off of the drivers side rear tire it moves easily and while pushing it that way the differential is spinning the drivers side tire(while its lifted in the air) the opposite direction you are pushing the cart.

Put the rear up on jacks and see if you can spin both rear tires forward and back. Maybe something came loose in the driver's side brake. If not, it doesn't look good.

Ok I'll try that, if I can't narrow it down, I'll try to get a video so I can post it on here to show it.
Thanks

It's possible that a brake lining detached from the shoe and is binding in the bottom of the brake drum.
