How hard is it to do a body swap to put a newer model EZ-GO body on a Marathon series cart? Anyone done one?

yeah it definately can be done. depending on the time involved it may or may not be worth it. in my case, i had a lot lof help from a friend of mine that owns a body shop. it sure is not straightforward to resore one of these old carts.

the dash board was made out of a section of commercial rain gutter, and made to work by doug albin the owner of bodyworks in temecula, ca.

you have to cut a lot of the shelf on the front as well and rework the rear seat supports. i used the newer cart pics i found on here and bu and we just cut off the old stuff and made new ones.

best thing about this project is a got a chance to learn to weld. something i had been wanting to do for years and now i can say i can weld. its not like im some expert. just able to do a decent job thanks to doug.

im trying to find a place to do my custom roll cage as the place i was going to use seems too far to haul the cart to.

good luck and if you need any pics you dont see online , let me know and i will snap a few more.
