High speed gears in RXV
Just curious has anyone changed gear ratios in the gas RXV? If so what ratio did you choose and what do you think about it? I am in the process of purchasing a 2010 limo RXV and would not mind a little more speed but don't want to sacrifice to much bottom end power. Considering a 10:1. I know there are people on here and probably a chart so what speed would I be looking at with 23" tires with these gear ratios? I believe stock is 11.42:1. I compared the speed of the gas with my electric and they both had a top speed around 27 though the electric did accelerate ever so slightly faster, but it is not limo.

I was curious about this too. The company that i bought my rxv from adjusted my governor and with my 23" tires I'm getting about 20-21 out of mine . is that about topped out or is there more room to pick up a few mph.

The one I test drove was closer to 27 mph. The mechanic at the store said he could get more speed out of it still.
