Limited Slip Rear Differential - Once and for All
This subject has been covered many, many, and yes many times but since the answers keep coming up different and am lost again. I have a 2003 TXT with 9HP Robins and would like to know for sure if the rear differential is limited slip. I keep reading posts and everyone seems to have and opinion. These are just a few from our forum that make things confusing.
1. Limited Slip is an option you can choose on 2008 and newer carts. 2. Rear ends changed in 1996 and then after 1999 they became limited slip. 3. The only way to have a limited slip differential is to modify your own differential yourself with a kit and they are not very good. Does anyone know if all or any are true? The picture is mine. |

not sure on the dates, but I do know EZGO started adding them as options around the 2010ish year.

Re: Limited Slip Rear Differential - Once and for All
easy way to tell if you have limited slip is just jack up one tire with shifter in neutral. If you can freely spin tire, no limited.
