How can I tell if my oil injection is working?

Hello all, I just picked up an older ezgo with the 2 cycle motor, the p/o filled the gas tank up with gas oil mix but it says not to do that so I was wondering how to test the oil injection don't thanks in advance oh and I think its an 87 but not sure

Don't bother with the oil-injection.They are prone to fail.Just Pre-Mix 128:1(1oz./gal.).Just make sure that the oil you buy says "Pre-Mix" on it,some of the injection-oils will not mix,and will not lube the engine.Hope this helps.
