Jacobsen utility model/year?
I have a jacobsen utility cart that I need to figure out a year and engine type on. I am new to the world of carts and am excited to start my first build.
model=gxj-810 manufacture code=b2193 From what i can tell it is some sort of workhorse model but it has headlights and taillights and from my research i cant find any with lights. It has diamond plate all the way around it and has a dump bed. Trying to post pictures but cant figure out how to. any help with that would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Jacobsen utility model/year?
Try going to jacobsen support under out of production units look for hauler 810. They say product id 84017 which is also how the serial numbers start out. See if matches anything on your rig. They have engine, operators and parts manuals for download

Re: Jacobsen utility model/year?
I have a Jacobsen, I will post a picture latter, but it is a T1000 basically the same as an EZgo Marathon engine wise. The diamond plate bed is attached to the rear seat. I think the 84 refers to the year built. It is a great cart.

Re: Jacobsen utility model/year?
Has to be the same cart just a different year. Headlights are different but the bed and seat are the same. From what I have found it is considered a truck. I found the manuals and am starting to figure out where to start. I was told it has compression and it appears all the parts are there. Need to run a couple fuel lines and figure out what type of battery these take and hopefully she starts right up and runs forever!!!!! LOL unfortunately I know better than that! So the troubleshooting starts and prob never ends. Any advice on where to start would be awesome. here are a couple pics of her

Re: Jacobsen utility model/year?
when replacing the lines, be careful on the tank side, they can be brittle. dont ask how i know...
i think i just measured the area for the battery and went to autozone. for my bigger lift, i went to gabriels website and just looked for shocks that would fit. and they had way more travel than stock. I cant speak to the engine and its issues, since i yanked all of that out including the governor. i did have to rebuild alot of the bed on mine. it now has a 1/4" alum treadplate floor, and smooth sides due to the old ones being rusted out. had to buy new bushings for the dump bed, and just looked those up on fastenal.com you can ask away. i can try to help. pm me. |

Just saw your post havn't been on in awhile. I have 2 Jacobsen 810. Your engine is missing a few parts from the pict. Cam belt & cover drive clutch. If you need to see pictures I can post some. These are great carts & worth rebuilding. All eng parts are ezgo 295 parts
