Default Onto my next 88 ezgo problems

I finally got the clutch replaced and everything. But the cart is still leaking and it looks like its coming from under the engine where it looks like the exhaust comes from uploadfromtaptalk1395414648641.jpg

Then problem number to it will run and the primary clutch will turn but it wont spin the belt which goes to the secondary clutch... it just barely moves the cart if at all.

Need more help please

That gasket may need replaced, what kind of shape is the muffler in? 2 strokes depend on backpressure to keep the gas from coming out the exhaust port.

The exahust and muffler seem to look fine. Do you think that this would cause the golf cart to not move very well also?

Have you did any engine rebuilding at all and if did, is the piston in correctly with ports facing intake? Also if you have not did a rebuild, I would check compression as you may just not have enough to make the cart move and if bad enough ( hle in piston or real bad rings) it could pressure the crankcase some and give a flow out the exhaust. Granted that a real bad piston will not normally even start but worth a check.

Start with cleaning ALL grounds. then use a fresh plug.

Check the connection between the pulsar and the ignitor. If that is ok, it is likely the pulsar.
If it sparks once when the pedal is pressed, it isn't getting the pulsar signal.

Yes. You should have two wires coming out of the case from the pulsar, going to the ignitor. I'm not positive on the 88 model, but on the 89(3pg), they are red and blue and have a 2-pin quick disconnect just ahead of the ignitor. Make sure those connections are clean and tight. Just because it is plugged in doesn't mean it is clean and tight.
