Default Marathon 82 issues Any Ideas what the issue is

Cart was working fine then backed up to dump trailer and then it just wouldn't go forward. I have uploaded a video. Any idea where to start would be good. It has a new spark plug the fuel pump is pumping fine. But I don't believe anything else has been touched for a while. Doesn't sound too good but am not a mechanic.

I sounds like a massive air leak. With that much air leaking, I would think you should be able to feel around and find where it is leaking. No air should be coming out of the carb. If it is, the reeds aren't doing their job. Check around the head gasket, base gasket, spark plug, crank seals, and intake.
It almost sounds like it doesn't have a spark plug in it.

I've looked for air leaks and I don't think I found anything. There might be something small between the manifold motor side. but it's not significant so I'm not sure if it is just residule air flowing around it. Tested the spark and spark is good. I am attempting to borrow a compression tester to test the compression. Fuel pump has a good output with a new filter. I'm at a loss to what I should be checking next. The nice weather is just starting and need to get out on the property again.

It may just be poor sound on the video, but it sure sounds like there is alot of air moving. Have you checked to see if any air is being pushed out of the filter-side of the carb?

So I've done a compression test and am only getting 58psi that is clearly not good. am thinking the top end needs a rebuild.??

If you have a large air leak, you shouldn't need a top end rebuild. Whatever happened, it happened immediately. Top end rebuild is usually needed because of wear to the piston/jug/rings. I'm guessing from the sound of the video that it's either a blown out crank seal(out of the bore), or something is holding the reeds open. It sounds like it is pushing alot of air.

58 pounds and it starts, Hum, it does sound like it's a 2 cylinder motor and one plug is out, i say a blown head gasket at the base of the jug, but with out being there it's hard to say

Isn't the head gasket at the top of the jug?
It doesn't sound like it ever started in the video.
