Well personaly it all depends on how the cart looks, and what the condition of the thing is. And where your located.

Some older basic carts go for around 1300 in some areas, where others are more then that.

If it was a course cart, then i would be somewhat cautious unless there are alot of new parts on it..

Now if it was owned its entire life by some old people to go and get the mail.. Then i would have more faith in the cart. Seeing that it hasnt gone through the abuse that some course carts go through.

If the engine has been freshly rebuilt. which it probably is, and they are giving you a warranty on it. I dont see it being too bad, it should give you years of worry free service. I would however though expect the seats to be in very very good condition, or newly recovered. And the paint be in very good condition. That cart body is the metalist style, but it can be updgraded to any of the new body styles either the txt or workhorse style if you wanted to in the future.

Really i would use your own discresion. its age is only a number, its all about how good of a condition the cart is, and for that price, it should be in very mint condition. With minimal wear and tare.

IT was a single owner cart. owned by an elderly guy to golf 2 times a week in. the dealer Im buying it from serviced it 2 times a year for the guy and stored it duing the winter months in his heated storage facility. the dealer sells alot of them. He said himself it is a great cart for the age. I could not find a single spot of rust on it nor any rips or tears. The lift was put on for me when I asked about the cart and the wheels were also put on for me. he said IF idont want it Im not obligated to it as he has others interested in it but Ide liek to have youe alls opinions of it. Im in Missouri.

Seeing from the pics, it also comes with an enclosure, and a windshield. So that basicaly saves on accessoires that you will probably end up buying in the future.

Elderly owned and single owner are the carts that i hunt around for when looking for good carts. Unless its a deal i cant give up on.

I would say it's a good price on a newer style lifted cart with nice wheels/tires.

WEll thanks all for the advice and help.
I went ahead and picked it up and am so happy with it.
here are some pics on the trailer on our way home with it.
I have some corrections to make though.
ITs a 4 inch Jakes lift. 12 inch SS wheels and Carlisle All-Trail Tires.the total height i belive is 23" of wheel and Tire.
IT has the highTourque Clutch and the Rain kit roof piece. and a windshield. I really wanted a rear seat but I can add it. I just need to find a reasonable price for one.

Future plans include Front headlights, Tail Lights with reverse. Possibly speed improvements if anyone can help me figure out what I should do to keep it reliable yet faster. a radio and speakers, POssibly painted with some flames.

I'm liking it, always liked the 95's with the plastic nose and the body style, just could never find a nice clean one, You Did Good !!

Congrats on the buy!

Hope you have years of enjoyment, and fun carting!

For lighting on that thing, if you want it to look as factory as possible, you can get yourself the ezgo light bar for the front, and put some small marker lights on the rear. And if you plan on getting a nice dash kit for it, look for the stretch plastics one that has the radio cut out already in it in one of the golve boxes. It will turn out very good!
