Can you do the HEI on a 2pg motor.

This should help - the tricky part is to make SURE You have a solid ground as well as good contact between the HEI and bare metal to help dissipate heat - I generally grind a bare spot on the frame on the passenger side and mount the HEI there, most HEI's have a small alignment tab on the back that needs to be shaved off before the install to ensure the rear of the HEI lays flat against the metal ...

Aaah - I *did* have a picture, LOL - ignore the ugly cart (this is one I did several years ago) but this should give You an idea of the mounting, doing it on the frame ensures plenty of heatsinking and doing it on that side allows You the shortest distance to have to rewire

Been busy very little time on cart last couple of weeks. I plan to buy the HEI today, and hope to get it on this weekend. Ill post pics when I get it put in hope all goes well. This cart has come along way since i picked it up a few weeks ago. Ill start another thread to show progress.
