2012 EzGo Express S4 Honda 24hp Motor Swap

Hello everyone I have a 2012 EzGo Express 4 and I'm looking to put a Honda motor in it. So I called EzGo and they said they have a direct bolt in kit for a txt! But the express 4 is the same as a txt except the front end and the lift kit. So why won't it fit? Can some one tell me if it would fit? Or the difference between the txt and the Express 4?

Maybe it's only for the TXT up til they swapped to the Kawi motor? The rearend changed at this time too to have the driven clutch on the other side.

Go to the section in this site big block talk , there is a lot of traffic there with people who have done swaps and lots of help can be found there. Good luck. Jim

I think Dave nailed it. If it has the Robbins the ezgo kit should work but I would still confirm that. If it has the Kawasaki, all is different. If it does have the Kawasaki, they can be tweaked to run better and the new team clutch kits make a big difference in pulling power.
