Default Feeler Guage Setting

92 ezgo valve setting
I was told the setting might be 16000
Can someone tell me if this is it,,, or the proper set
thx

I'm lazy so I just make it loose, finger tighten until it just touches and then back off a quarter turn. FWIW, mine used square head studs for the adjusters so I just took a square head drive screw and screwed it into a small wooden block. Now I have a handle to tighten or loosen.

That works if no gauge is available... Check them after you do that. I'll bet it's closer to .010 than .004.
If so it will allow for excess hammering and wear.

I will do that next time I tune up one of mine. I vaguely remember checking the real number after I did this one time and it was like .005. Yes I have a gauge, I just didn't feel like rooting in the tool box AND I read the quarter turn trick here on BGW so I knew it had to be true..

All joking aside, if you have a gauge, use it..
