Default Jakes skid plate installation on 2007 gas ezgo txt

I have a 2007 gas txt. I bought jakes skid plate for it. Long story short the plate required some heaving to get on. The plate is rubbing on the bottom of the rear end. Has anyone else installed jakes "two cylinder gas skid plate" and tell me how tight there's was on the rear axle. I got it on but I didn't expect to have use a piece of wood to pry it into The hole on the rear axle. Thanks in advance.

Does your skid plate rub the rear? Or is there a gap between the plate and rear?

I'll take a look later today but I don't think it makes a difference. As I recall the rearend, motor and skid plate are all
bolted solid to the engine cradle, which only swivels at the front of the motor where it hooks to the frame.

I ended up pressing it a to make it more flat. Def made it easier to put on. Still touches the rear end but it doesn't take a pry bar to install

Where does it attach at the front point?
I was interested in the skid plate, but I have a jakes big block kit, and don't know if it will still work. Any pics of front mounting point would be great!!

I went on the ezgo website and took a good look at the ST skid plate, and it looks like it should also fit the Older model TXT rear diff, the ST uses different axle tubes, but it looks like the center section of the differential is the same, so I don't see why the ST wouldn't work. Has anyone tried the ST skid plate on a TXT?

I bought 3 skid plates that should all fit the TXT one is a standard steel unit powder coated black, and then I also bought a stainless steel polished version. I'll sell the stainless one for $90 if anyone's interested. I think I'm going to go with the Jakes version if I can get it to fit with my big block kit.
I'll also sell the black regular steel one for $35 if anyone's interested.
