cable to clutch on a 1986 Marathon
I have a 1986 EZGO Marathon cart. There is a cable that runs from the carb to the clutch assemble, and for the life of me I can't figure out what it does? purpose is.
Please help... |

As the cart goes faster the driven clutch expands and pushes on the lever. This in turn pulls the cable and closes the throttle. It is called the governor and it regulates the top speed of the cart. Many people just remove it.
