Bracing Roof struts
I've got a roof basket I made for my EZ GO and was wondering If anyone had any suggestions on how to beef up the front roof struts as they are smaller than my rear struts and I'm a little concerned about them cracking due to the extra weight.

Re: Bracing Roof struts
I would find some aluminum channel that just fits over the struts - try and get it as long as possible to cover the entire straight part of the upright from the bend at the mount to the bend at the canopy/basket ... For what it's worth though I have dealt with several rolled carts and have never seen the struts break, only bend - they're stronger than they look.
You'll want something similar to this, although first measure the width, etc of your struts and make sure what You get has the same ID as the OD of your current struts: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6063-T52-Alu...item20d0956878 |
