Default waterlooged engine

im needing some advice on how to get water out of my 2 cycle engine
i found out there is no drain plug to get it out
the reason im thinking its water is its coming out of the exhaust pipe i have my muffler off and i does not smell like gas and oil mixture the person i got it from left it uncovered with the seat off for a few years
it does not seem like its hurting it any but water and dirt on the bearings cannot be doing them any good
do i run it and let the heat from the engine evaporate it or how can i get it out of it
im really not sure what it is but it does look like dirty water to me
thanks

If it was sitting outside without an exhuast and no seat for years my guess is the engine is not much good any more.

Falcon, you said you got it running right? If it was out in the weather for a long period of time, I would consider pulling the engine apart and rebuilding it. Its not terribly expensive to do that and you will save yourself much aggravation in chasing problems in the long run especially if you are concerned with the safety of your wife and daughter. Go slow, take your time and do it right.

yes it was running good till i let the naked wire on the ignitor ground out it was putting out a mist of what ever it is on the frame of the cart im just trying to figure out what the mist is like i said it does not smell like gas thats why i was wondering if water could get in the engine from sitting in the weather with out the seat on
i took the muffler off when i first got it because i thought it might be clogged because the seat caught on fire one day while the other owner was riding it so he parked it
it didnt burn any wireing just burned the wood under the seat and part of the seat so i figured the muffler got cherry red and caught the seat on fire because the muffler was clogged

sccowboy

I did not realize it was running. maybe there was just some moisture in the muffler and once it's all run out it'll clear out
