Re: 350cc 11hp Compression
Hello Quadmaster,
I gave an answer with wrong measurements. My nummbers are in PSI and not LBS. 175 PSI = 12.5 BAR 190 = 13.5 Bar I don't know how much LBS = PSI = BAR I don't know your factorycompression, but 175 is good???????? More than 185 /190 is on long terms getting a problem for your (thing between piston and cranckshaft). Or is simply to much because of detonation in these simple engines. 175 measured with a reliable precisioninstrument is just passed the edge of using 98 octane gas. Just because of predetonation. Ours has 190 and we are using at least 98 octane and digital ignition Benno Last edited by Subarumouse; 11-08-2008 at 09:33 AM.. Reason: Not the right answer! |

Re: 350cc 11hp Compression
My mistake, it was late last nite when i was posting....My numbers are PSI. It's the connecting rod that's affected with too much compression. Thanks
Anyone know what kind off compression a 295 head will have on a 350cc ?? Last edited by Quadmaster; 11-08-2008 at 12:15 PM.. Reason: more info |

Re: 350cc 11hp Compression
if your at 175lbs then you would be looking at around 185 to 190

Re: 350cc 11hp Compression
Hey guys , Pizzamaker & Mike In your opinion is it worth doing the 295cc head for some more oomph ???? Not necessarily speed ...I have a 92 and it doesn't seem to have a rev limiter.
