Default drive belt slip on hills

Have a new, (about 3 mo old) 13 hp kawasaki ez go sport II.
Recently it has a problem going up hills as the belt appears to slip with 2 adults in the cart.
On flat surface it works fine, ie clutch operation.
It would be hard to believe the belt is worn already with little use.
Is there an adjustment for the drive belt some where?
Thanks

no adjustment you need to get the withd of new one and measure yours.......depending on driving habits i have seen them wear enough in a month to slip......also check your clutch facings for any odd wear.................................

I would talk with your dealer about this problem, it shouldn't be slipping at only 3 months old. I know this will vary from driver to driver but you'd have to be really abusing the new cart to ruin a belt that quick. it may be a clutch problem, regardless I believe your warranty may cover it. talk with your dealer.

Thanks;
Something is sticking as going up a steep hill the engine boggs (13hp) like it is stuck in top gear (so to speak) bogging down the engine in too high of a gear.

I think a clutch spring is broken or ?? stuck in the clutch.

THanks

Did you get this resolved? I have the same model and just spoke to an EZ Go Dealer. Apparently EZ Go is having this problem with allot of the 2008 13hp model and is working on a solution. The dealer is contacting EZ Go for a solution, but wondered if you had found a solution yet? If not I'll reply again when I hear back from the dealer

It kind of fixed itself.
The dealer wont do anyghing, and cant find anything wrong, like most dealerships.
It seems to go away if you run the cart for a bit before addressing a hill (paved cart path)
I was told that if you do alot of short starts and stopps, the sparkplug will fowl out and that was his answer to the belt slipping.
And no the cart is or has not been abused, adult driven.

I am curious what EZGo comes up with as a fix.

Thanks.

That IS A BATCH OF CRAP!! GOLF carts are suppoced to stop and go! Thats how everybody plays golf! Hit the ball 20yrds, chase it and repeat......
And then after about 100 stops and goes, somelse gets on it and does it again. Easy 200 stops and goes daily.
I would harass those guys daily. Tell them its been posted and responded to by hundreds on the internet. All potential buyers!! GO GET' EM BOYS!! This pisses me off! OOPS! I got too emotional.
