Default Has gas, no fire, wont start

I have a 2000 ezgo workhorse it was running fine when I parked it. Then couple days later it wont start. I pulled the fuel line off of the carb, fuel is coming out. I pulled a plug and no spark. Where do I start with spark problems. I tried doing a search on the forum but I could not come up with anything that helped me. Any info would greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

New plug... Probably easiest. Is the plug black, wet?

The plug is damp not soaked. It's not real black it really didn't look all that bad. How can I test to see if fire is getting to the plug?

Pull plug and set it near metal, crank engine and check for spark.

That's what I did. I need to know if there is a way to test for spark before the plug. How do you test the coil to make sure its good and power to the coil?

I believe you have the EH35 (350cc) engine, so look in this manual:

Check the electrical section L (I think) and you will find the troubleshooting and test info you need.
