Caddy Car engine transaxle combo
Hi from NJ! You guys have some impressive builds here on BGW.
I ran across a caddy car engine/axle combo at a swap meet 20 years ago. Bought it thinking I would make a pit car or something similar. Threw it in the shed cause I couldn't find much info about it. Now, 20 years later with this netterweb thing, I still can't find out much about. The engine is a kohler k161 7hp which is easy to find stuff for but the axle needs hubs and there isn't much written about Caddy cars. Anybody recognize this axle? Maybe hubs from another manufacturer would work? (Having a little trouble uploading multiple pictures, may need to post pics separately.) |

welcome to the club so to speak,i too am from n.j. i just started getting into the cart scene as well.measure the axle diameter and you might be able to get go kart hubs for it. youtube is a good place to get ideas as well.
