Default 1974 Harley 3 wheeler

I have a 3 wheel 1974 Harley that I need to rewire. I have tried to patch the existing wiring but all of the diagrams I have found don't match the color of wires on mine, I think someone in the past may have tried to rewire some of it and instead of a key switch it has a toggle switch and now it is all screwed up. Can anyone recommend the proper key switch and a good wiring diagram?

Thanks in advance.

Because it's a Harley, you should post this in the Harley sub section of this forum. The other Harley owners don't tend to read this section much.

best place i found for the wiring diagrams, is on Vintage golf parts page... google them, once on there page, look up top for the Harley section, then threes a link for wiring diagrams. there's 4 pages. just find your correct one, and that's the factory wiring, no Jim bobs! no complete wiring harness out there, just will have to remake them.

A toggle switch is good but if you want a key switch try a auto supply. They usually have an inexpensive three position key switch. I use one and my switch is wired off (center) on (right) on with accessory light (left). Replacing wiring is a pain but if it is done carefully and neatly can be a good repair.
