Default Here's another Gem

Can anybody help me with any info about this thing? Guy says it's a Toro Workmaster. Starts and runs fine. He says it has a 14hp engine. He can't tell me anything else about like year, engine brand, if it's a v twin. I'm hoping someone here will know. He's asking $800. What's it worth? Thanks in advance.

This is what it looks like.

And here's the craigslist add.

Thanks ez. I wonder if it's worth $800. I'm in search for a farmer friend. It looks like it would be perfect for him. I wonder if I could get it for $500?

Looking at some pics and their descriptions over the web it looks like the 3 wheelers were made somewhere between 74-88. It is probably a 14 HP Kohler engine and one sold in PA for $650.

Another one asking $650

Thanks everyone. Does anybody know whether these were key start and idle type setup or push the gas pedal/start and go like a golf cart setup?

I used one of those a lot in the late 80s. Kohler 14 but you could put about anything in there. It runs like a lawnmower with key start, its pedal control hydrostat, the throttle is next to the steering column there, it has real brakes but with the hydro you don't need them much. They can go 15mph or something if you tune them up. They are a beast, we used to pile 80lb bags of fertilizer 3' high in the back and take off no problem, but it didn't want to climb a hill that way lol. They were out same time as the cushman trucksters which may have been a little more HD, but the workmaster was nicer for some things, you didn't have to shift gears or clutch. The seat is supposed to have a back on it. They were a pretty nice unit to use, the cushman had a dump box these did not. But they are pretty compact, the ride is nice, the hydro is smooth and easy to use, they are pretty stable, could use a little more power if you haul weight a lot. We ran the wheels off it.
